harry potter!

As  India  is  ready  to  witness  the  final  harry  potter  v/s  voldemort  war . I  try  to  look  past  all  that  went  by  so  far,  J k Rowling  changed the  world  of  fiction in  every  way a  woman  could! Here  are  some  facts  for  you  guys ,
1)    1.The  theme  death  and  loss  has  been  consistent  part  of  the  harry  potter  series  because  that  was  how  J k Rowling  dealt  with  her  own  mother’s  death.

2)     2.Harry’s  birthday  is  July  31st  1980, Rowling’s  birthday  is  July  31st 1966.

3)     3.  Several  publishers  rejected  the  first  Harry  Potter  manuscript  saying  it  was  too  long  and  literary,  but  Bloomsbury Publisher finally accepted it in 1996. The  book’s  publisher  suggested  Rowling  use  the  name “J. K.” rather  than  her real  name “Joanne  Rowling”  to  appeal to male readers. She  took  the “K” from her grandmother's name Kathleen, but neither "Kathleen" nor "K" is part of her legal name.

4)     4.  When  harry  potter  and  the  prisoner  of  Azkaban  was  released  in  great  Britain, book  wasn’t  sold  till  the  school  was  over  to  prevent  truancy.

5)     5.    The  name voldemort comes from the French word meaning ‘fly from death’
6)     Ralph Fiennes our very own the Reader guy plays the antagonist  character of lord voldemort.

7)   6.    Dumbledore is an old English word meaning bumblebee.

8)    7. Rowling doesn’t believe in magic at all(omg!)
9)
O  8. one of the most beautiful thing Daniel (harry ) ever said is, he understands that the crowd is cheering for the character not him, had somebody else played the character he would have won the same praise
9.    9.  J k rowling is the first woman to earn billions ($) from writing a book.

science fiction...nt really:(

I  don't  really  remember  which  day  it  was,  but  it  was  7th  grade  and  me  n  my  best  friend  (which  we  acted  that  time  we  weren't  exclusive,  'one  of  the best  friend' rem?)  I  wrote  my  first  ever  novel  piece  and  I  really  thought  that  I'll  publish  it…btw  it  came  under  the  genre  science  fiction,  (if  crap  is  not  one!) here's  the  first  page, just  laugh  it  off  guys, will  spare  you  the  others…
                                                        TROUBLE  OR  TRAVEL
"you  got  to  come  with  me,  its  3,000  party….a  whole  new  millennium  party..."  said  p  , while  her  personal  robot  Emma  applied  her  make  up!
"Pluto  is  so  small n  besides  cold!" said  r  while  changing  the  orientation  of  her  house,
"keep  it  north..."
"yep…."
"but it'll  be  fun…see  my  parents  have  the  whole  space  ship  booked  for  us  exclusively!"
"I  gotta  talk  to  mom  in  that  case,  she  was  keen  on  mars"  r  said  while  programming  her  personal  robot  linse!
"I  need  to  take  her  for  servicing….last  time  I  realized  on  my  way  to  Jupiter  that  she  packed  my  bro's  clothes  instead  of  mine!" r  complained  while  checking  resetting  the  program,
"you  don't  get  rid  of  her?  She  is  almost  a  clunker..."
"ok,  lets  talk  about  the  schedule  for  today..." r  diverted  the  topic,
Emma  marched  forward…
"mam  after  half  an  hour  you  have  a  short  coffee  meeting  with  your  mother,
At  11:00  you'll  leave  for  moon's  fashion  store,
At  11:30  you'll  reach  there  and  have  your  dress  rehearsal  for  the  millennium  party..  "
"cut  it  off…rest  we'll  have  later…now  r  I  am  on  my  way  to  home,  n  yes  open  your  sensory  line,  I  wanna  have  telepathic  chat"
"fine,  rem  the  last  time  you  sneaked  around  my  personal  thought?"
"won't  do  it  again..."
She  clicked  the  small  trans cell  n  disappeared  in  mille  seconds!

n yes  in  the  pic  'r' is  definitely  the  Grey  one !

weird me!

There are many, still this post is five things that makes me super weird,
1.   1.  I wonder where does the fashion bone in my body lies? I can forgive myself for being blind to foot wear trends n all, my best friend every time she visits me goes through panic attacks watching my ‘growing dirtier every moment’ three year old sandals, n might be the only pair I have for outdoors! But I love cloths that literally droop lifelessly on me! My mother freaks out by the face I make when asked for shoppingL
2.   2. I dream of turning into vegan, fast like for a month, starve myself and depend only on fruits n soya milk…n I have no intention of going as skinny as Natalie Portman in black swan, yet WEIRD you say! May be I want my carbon footprint to be minuscule…
3.   3.  I bury my anger into sobs n sobs into bathroom…both sobs n bathroom play a vital role in emotional life!
4.   4.Hereby I say n accept I m the most unpractical human being I ever have come across…all my decisions weigh whether I feel its right or not! People would say ‘do you think its gonna be right?’ ‘if that’s a huge risk?’ ‘what can be the consequences?’ I just ask myself ‘does it feel ok?’ n dive into the waters, n I have screwed up a lot, but when I pretended I am THE PRACTICAL GIRL  I was miserable, now its time I accept the reality.
5.     5. I can never say ‘sorry I was wrong’ or ‘please be thr for me’ I mean it takes all my guts to say this, if I ever said that or tried to convey that, u definitely mean a world to me…I am emotionally act numb person with over sensitive corners beneath the surface…

Two contrasting philosophies…yet equally brilliant!

Believe me I have read many authors, right from romantic crap to really embarrassing mills n boon’s collection…most philosophies by Philip Roth, Paulo Coelho….feminist works of alice walker…and I would say I am not a good critic, least of all judgmental…since I have read FOUNTAINHEAD n now atlas shrugged, I have been disposed to heavy thinking about the works of ayn rand….
The way she perceived freedom, n most of all utopia!
Objectivism:- the purpose of our life is one’s own rational self interest…there’s nothing as greater good or no human being has a moral obligation to society until the person is not violating someone’s else right, in few words she was against ETHICAL ALUTRISM….
From where I can see she was inclined to individualism, now we popularly say that ‘its my life!’  I would agree, we are not answerable to anyone in context of who we are, but I am an Indian, n most of our philosophies unlike objectivism teach us to sacrifice our life (if we have a chance!) for the greater good, right from SWAMI VIVEKANADA to all the sages ever born on our land,
one of the most famous quote by Vivekananda…
1.     ‘So long as even a single dog in my country is without food my whole religion is to feed it and serve it, anything excluding that is unreligious.’
2.    Serving man is serving God.
I am not trying to set a contrast here, nor It’s my way of saying ‘mera bharat mahan!’                                                         its just I am trying to understand two completely opposite philosophies set in the test of time, both gaining lots of followers worldwide!
1.     Ayn rand was born in Russia and her early years were exposed to violent memories of Russian revolution, as a child she conceived the idea that reason is the only faith, turning into atheist.
2.    Ayn rand led and achieved all in her life by her sheer will power n stubbornness to go on, no doubt she was a lady of courage.
3.     “The great creators—the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors—stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won “ HOWARD ROARK in fountainhead…
I love the idea both of these great people had n I am not here to forward my own philosophy integrating these two (that would be sick!), n yes there does stands a contrast between the two, but philosophers are just observers, they contemplate their own life n sufferings n have their own theory for the world, we need not to be a die hard follower, because as ayn rand says 'its our life', we can be open to suggestions, yet in the end listen n do whatever you think is right…We are not born to be a shadow, life is hit n trial n go on cycle ….
N about the greater good, if you earn enough n wish to donate a part, here’s my request make sure right person gets it, last thing people should show is pity!

born a woman...

I  was  born  a  woman,
Was  asked  to  hide  my  face,
My eyes  suppose  to  be  set  on  the  ground,
Household  my  fate!

I  eschewed  the  battles,
The  rebels  I  was  suppose  to  stoke,
My  brothers  were  far  more  educated,
While  I  learned  to  stay  quiet.

Then  I  saw  one  unlike  me,
 Heretic  and  blatant,
Bit  paler  then  usual,
She  was  doomed  and  died  of  hunger.

Here  I  stand  before  her  grave,
and  I  see  her  smile,
She  was  a  woman  unwilling  to  accept  her  fate,
Its  a  better  place  where  she  resides!

Before I began with the original topic, let me babble about my current status,
Its final I am not going for engineering (sigh!) my parents and I are working on a compromise, (I say as if it’s a multimillion dollar deal in progress!)
Thank you guys for keeping a check on me, (this to all the friends who messaged me n abused for going invi! Stupid! Or half hearted)

Ok, now let’s not digress,

I gonna write about five reasons morning walk is gud way to a nice start…..
1. The GUYS! The perspiring, jogging hot guys….
(in case you are a guy then those GIRLS! I noe you already have a pic in mind:P)
2.    You have an intake of fresh air, probably while you miss it most of your lifetime sitting on either classroom chair or office oneL
3.    Parents will love you! All they want is a disciplined childJ
4.    No overweight issues if morning start with a gud exercise routine!
5.    Chances of great day ahead….
Now these factors are very alluring, but the abject tragedy of the moment is WHY CAN’T I STILL CHOOSE TO WAKE UP EARLY? Here’s my answer…..

1.     Ok, hot guys….m I talking to any?(do I have guts?)
2.    I won’t have a office life, I’ll be a writer travelling, so I won’t be stuck in an IT office :P
3.    Whateva I do as of now, my parents are not loving me….so better sleep!
4.    I don’t have overweight issues…(kil u if u said I have!)
5.    My days already suck….

So that’s it for this post and I promise I’ll be regular…..chao for nowJ
