There are many movies that are action-packed, nasty villains, super-tech gadgets and of course the chase! While these catch the eyes of most people and fascination of every-age group, there are certain movies that are able to stir the audience from inside.
This post is about the movies that deal with courage of woman, based on real-life stories, they may not be the chick-lit kind or as trouble-less as legally blonde, but guys they hold the truth and once you see them you will realize fire burning inside of you, (if you are a feminist, do watch!)
1. MONSTER: - Based on the real life of Aileen Carol Wuornos (a prostitute turned serial men killer who was convicted in Florida with death sentence), played by Charlize theoron who ultimately grabbed an Oscar for her spine-tingling performance. This movie may seem morbid (no doubt!) but it comes so close to reality.
Note:- while I won’t recommend killing seven men as courage, this movie if not justifying her steps is at least able to draw some deserved sympathy, because most of the these men tried to rape her (of course it wasn’t proved, they were killed before.)
2. A mighty heart: - Based on the kidnapping of wall street journal reporter Daniel Pearl, this movie basically revolves around the turmoil his pregnant wife has to go through, her stoic courage even at the face of adversity. A woman who could go through such extent of pain only to find his husband decapitated by the militant group and still fights to bring him to justice is a real woman!
3. Elizabeth :- also known as The Virgin queen, remarkable role play by Cate Blanchett, the story of queen of England responsible for changing the history.
Note:- the irony of the situation, Elizabeth’s father Henry the eighth always wanted a son, married six times, Elizabeth’s mother Anne Boleyn (second wife of Henry) was sentenced to death by Him on false (not actually proved though) accusations of adultery (in reality she wasn't able to give him son, one thing she promised while she scandalously got him divorced from his first wife ). Elizabeth proved to be only true heir of her father, the son he so longed for (prince Edward from Jane Seymour the third wife died at the age of sixteen) and she became one of the most successful monarch in the history of England .What is more absurd after Anne Boleyn's death, Elizabeth was disowned by her father.
want to watch all 3.....
